Just browsed your gallery. I love it, especially the gauntlets. I see you're pretty good at shoulder-armor too, would you please have a look at this and tell me if it's possible or not?
Sorry it has taken me a while to respond. I've been really sick.
I make these designs using patterns that I have found that I like. It is placed over damp leather and traced. The tracing leaves visible marks on the leather, but not pencil or ink marks.
I then take a swivel knife and cut in the pattern. I then take various tools and place them against the leather, the primary tool being a beveler. I then strike it with a wooden mallet.
There are many resources on he internet for learning. I have watched videoes and applied the techniques to my own work.

you can look on youtube. I have joined a couple of groups that do some videos. You can register with leathercraftstudio.com. They can help you out also.

is not so hard....you have just do draw on a paper your image of armory or a costume and try to draw each singol part of it..... tri to cat whit a big paper on your body and take the size...sorry for my english

The viking costume caught my eye as i was browsing metalworking. =] The black leather gauntlets and all the other leather work is prety cool! ^^
